The SJI supports the development of a resourced and resilient social justice sector, which can drive systemic change by promoting the constitution, increasing active citizenry and promoting good governance, ethical decision-making and ensuring accountability.
Many SJOs struggle to raise funds and SJI has the ability to access the individuals with the funds and effectively direct those funds to the SJOs that need it most
Instead of having to manage many donors and funders, SJI is able to become a focal point for funding for many SJOs and helps to manage some of the related admin
SJI will support the development of leaders in the sector and provide them access to other likeminded leaders who could help advance their cause
SJI has the ability to convene the sector around key issues and to support the fostering of greater collaboration in the sector
SJI is promoting the sector to the right audiences who will be able to contribute to the sector and also to the broader public who may often overlook the social justice sector
SJI is able to provide impactful insights to SJOs to help them enhance their impact and encourage greater collaboration
